Itinerary

Day 01 : Haridwar to Joshimath

Early morning pickup from Haridwar.\nDrive through the scenic mountain roads.\nArrive in Joshimath and check-in to accommodation.\nRest and acclimatize.

Day 02 : Joshimath to Badrinath

Short drive to Badrinath.\nCheck into the hotel and proceed for an evening Darshan.\nAttend the spectacular evening Aarti at the temple.

Day 03 : Mana Village Exploration

Early morning holy dip in the Tapt Kund.\nDrive to Mana Village (3 km away).\nVisit Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Bhim Pul.\nEnjoy a cup of tea at the 'Last Tea Shop of India'.\nReturn to Badrinath for overnight stay.

Day 04 : Badrinath to Haridwar

Morning departure for the long drive back to Haridwar.\nBrief stops at the holy confluences (Prayags).\nDrop-off in Haridwar by late evening.

Fitness Requirements

This is a driving tour with minimal walking required at the temple complex and Mana village. Suitable for all age groups with general good health.

Preparation Tips:

  • Start jogging 3-4 kms a day at least a month before the trek.
  • Practice walking with a 5kg backpack.
  • Do squats and lunges to build thigh and calf muscle strength.
  • Practice yoga for better lung capacity (Pranayama).

  • Carry sufficient warm clothing and rain gear.
  • Stay hydrated and drink plenty of water during the trek.
  • Respect the local culture and religious sentiments at Hemkund Sahib.
  • Keep the trekking trails and campsites clean (Leave No Trace).

  • Do not pluck any flowers or disturb the flora in the valley.
  • Do not consume alcohol or smoke during the expedition.
  • Do not leave your group or trek alone without informing the guide.
